We will work out what you can afford to borrow so you can search for the right properties. We’ll then provide you with a decision in principle so that the fun can begin, house hunting. A decision in principle shows your estate agents that you are in a position to proceed.
We will complete your mortgage application, letting your lender know you’ve found a property and that you would like to proceed. This is when you would instruct a conveyancing solicitor and the property survey would take place (we have a panel of solicitors that can help with this process)
Once the surveys are completed to the lenders satisfactory we will then issue a mortgage offer. Once offered we then hand over to your conveyancing solicitor to work towards getting your keys!!

A fee of up to 1% of the loan amount is payable, for example on a £100,000 mortgage a 1% fee would equate to £1,000.
